BLAG Stamp - Education by Ionosphere-Negate BLAG Stamp - Education by Ionosphere-Negate
One of BleedLikeAGod's old stamps.

She gave me permission to reupload this before she deactivated her account.

Her text:

"I can't even begin to express my distaste for all of these stamps that talk about how "lame" schooling is. In fact, there was one that insisted students should get PAID to go to school. :|

You're getting a fucking education. This is something that is not available to everyone. I understand complaining about budget cuts to education and matters like that, but c'mon now. Would you prefer not to be educated? Would you prefer to just drop out and see where life will take your ass? Take your fucking education seriously. From what I can tell, you really, really need it."

I couldn't agree. So many people online (and in real life) are glamourized being a terrible student and it makes me mad. Do people really care that little about education?

I value my education, but it is not so much that I hate school and education as much as I hate the other noisy ass students in my class.

And to be honest...the only other thing I hate about school is....marks. People are just going to school and doing assignments only for the marks; Numbers that quantify your intelligence on a subject.

Also, ever get that feeling in at least one class where no matter how hard you try, you will fail no matter what you do?

Tldr: Yes I like education. I just don't want to learn like this.

I hated school, and for several years, I always whined to my mom, "I don't wanna go to school . . . ." and my mom always said, "I know." They understood I hated it, but they made me go anyway. Going to school is for your own good. It will help you in life in the long run. Truthfully, it wasn't the schoolwork or the teachers I hated about going to school, it was the other kids. I got picked on a lot just because my taste in TV shows and music etc. was different than those of the other kids.

I don't think so, cause we have a corrupt education system here.

Depends on the school and field, but otherwise I agree. Most education as far as careers are concerned will be on the job, especially as a journeyman. Post-secondary IT and mathematics remain largely unaffected and that's the best we can hope for at this point.

It's a ticket- the few you have, mind you- to college and a good job!
Plus, there are plenty of kids in third world countries who would KILL to be educated!

It really depends on the teachers. If you want some non-school educational shit, check YouTube channels with good reviews and online school projects. As for videoentertainment, I recommend The Magic Schoolbus, Arthur, and above all else, Schoolhouse Rock.

That is true, education is important. I never really missed a day off school till I was in my last year when I was suspended because I wanted to complain about a Prefect abusing his power by bullying first-years and I got suspended for it. The Prefect I put in a complaint about was a bully anyway and hardly anyone in my year liked him, in fact, one of my classmates said to me once "Why did a bully, who is hated by the whole year because of his treatment of you, and is the biggest hypocrite in the whole year group, became a Prefect? In fact, the whole Prefect system is biased. I wish our Resistance Materials teacher selected the Prefects, as you would have been a Prefect, and would not bully first-years." Even a few pupils said that if the whole year had a vote on the final Prefect place, they would rather have me as a Prefect than the bully. Then to make things worse, the bully even took my college place. But the school I went to, since the old SEN left after the bully told a lie about him pushing me into the lockers and threatening me, the staff of the SEN sector let him get away with murder. But he successfully made the whole year group turn against me by spreading lies about me, saying that I was the worst thing to happen to the school and all that. On the final day there I was relieved and glad that I will never have to see the bully again. But the bully did not care about his education, in fact he went out to concerts on a School night and yet he claims to be smart? Besides, the education at the school was rubbish, and my school was the worst in the County, in fact, I would have done far better if I had gone to Grammar School at the end of my first-year, but I didn't want to leave my best friend behind to get bullied by the bully. The reason why there was people from a local Grammar School came in was to see me, they explained that I have the potential to do well in life. But I said "Thanks for asking, but I don't think I'm good for Grammar School." The people from the Grammar School accepted it, saying that one day, I can prove that a student from a Comprehensive School can equal that of a Grammar School student. Even though I haven't been to college in five years, I still learn new things every day. One day, I may be given a second chance of going to college and finally doing what I wanted to do.

I know education is important, but my education is terrible. I've learned barely ANYTHING this school year. I mean seriously, I learn more from 1 season of Hetalia than I learn in 1 month of school. :T

School would be better if it wasn't full of stress and if the classrooms had windows > 3 > I don't like sitting around for 8 hours a day 5 days a week in a building with NO WINDOWS.
Just give me windows and I'd be happy thanks

I love school, but I dislike most of the people there. Most of the time, I taught myself new ways to solve stuff, and it's a lot quicker than the 'must do it that way'.
Also, I hate how my classmates can be. They just keep complaining, and they talk about how 'swag' 'yolo' they are.

It's good that you do that.

I never had that problem. In my schools, we had thuggies. Thankfully, most of them tended to be more polite than the people who actually bullied others. There was an old radio in my 8th grade science class that I got working at the end of the year, and we partied a bit to Z93.
It got much, much worse after I left. Even my high school. College is no where near as bad if you get the right school with the right teachers.

Ugh, tell this to all the fucking crackheads and teen moms in my county; most of them piss and whine about how horrible school is, yet look at their freaking lifestyles. No wonder people roll their eyes when they hear what county I'm from. As for me, I fucking love college!

Well, the source of those skidmarks is self-discipline problems within society. They don't respect themselves or their efforts, because if they did (and I can say this without being fallacious), they wouldn't be doing what they do. They may enjoy it, but that doesn't mean they respect themselves for it in the slightest.
There's always something in the back of our heads that keeps telling us we could do better.

Oh, and the US school system that Jimmy Carter summoned from the pits of Hell, isn't helping either >.>. Public grade school is a fucking cesspool.

As Haley's Comet Man said, "Don't let school get in the way of education" :p. Because, again, it's a self-discipline problem.

I hated school, but now that I'm in college, I tend to value it more, I guess public education just fucked me over. I just hate how education is represented, it's all elitist and materialistic.. in a way that doesn't benefit anyone's well-being. :/

It's not elitist OR materialistic, it's laden with low-grade, regurgitated bullshit that's been marinated in Cultural Marxism and bias towards retards that don't deserve as much respect as they're put up for, if they deserve any at all.
The only classes that remain untouched are math and fucking learning how to type.

And the teachers and administration are a bunch of pussies who will let themselves get walked over by thug-culturized skidmarks and drug dealers (I'm not kidding).

To go back to it being regurgitated, most classes are retardedly easy, but even the smart kids are left in the dust because most classes are unorganized as fuck, teachers letting their kids get picked on by fucking thugs, and two words: TEACHERS. UNIONS.

There's literally no quality to schools anymore. No standards, and now there's Affirmative Action and more of the same shit hidden under different titles.
Gotta love that Cultural Marxism.

Thank you, Based Department of Education.
